Poverty is the state of being un able to obtain basic needs like food,clothes and as well as material wealth and shelter therefore a person in a given society fails to show capacity for independently.

LEVELS OF POVERY IN TANZANIA

In Tanzania level of poverty can well be explained looking at individually level,region level and even national level.At most Tanzanians are poor group between rich and poor people is widening from day to day.

TYPES OF POVERTY

(A)Absolute poverty or object poverty

-Refer the in sufficiency at resources that has reached a level where the victim no longer lives in a manner.Such deree of povert is extremly low.

(B)Relative poverty

-It implies an economic activities with insufficient resource in comparison to other economic entities in the certain section of the same population are same less to satisfy their basic needs than others.

INDICATORS OF POVERTY

       Poverty is being mainly caused by lack of resources and capabilities to acquire basic human needs.Indicator of poverty are

       {A}Per capital income.In Tanzania is 254 dollar,this icome is low average per person per year in a given country.It is obtained by dividing the total values of the goods and service provided in a country in a year by to population of that country.

       {B}Low level of science and technology which result into low production in the society.

       {C}Low gross demostic production (G.D.P) caused by the low level of science and technology    

       {D}Low life expectancy among the people

       {E}High rate of literacy at most people can not afford to educate their children.

       {F}Poor means of transport and communication

CAUSES OF POVERTY IN TANZANIA

1. Bad weather and climate which lead to drought
2. Low level of science and technology
3. Economic plans which do not involve masses which contribute good idea for eradication of poverty
4. Diseases and other naturally colamitties
